Deep celestial voyage. Gently lifting the listener to near by interstellar bodies and nebula's. Music for space traveller's and astral voyagers! Ambient and cinematic.

A Distant Signal is a comfortable ride through space made funky with smooth beats laid under weightless synth pads and melodies laden with velvety hooks. It glides back and forth between soothing drifts and impulse-drive sequencer moments. Standout tracks include "A Place of Peace," which epitomizes the album's drift-to-groove style, and the gentle "Portal Full of Stars," which ushers in the final few tracks of the album, where AWM gives the listener a dose of suspended-animation chill-out. And if I may say so myself, "Requiem for C.S." should be making e-music playlists everywhere.

Hier eine weitere CD von Alpha Wave Movement. -A Distant Signal- wurde zwischen 2000 und 2002 aufgenommen und ist, wie der Titel vielleicht schon verrät, feinste Space-Ambient-Musik. Für diese CD sollte man sich wirklich die Ruhe gönnen, denn so kommt sie am besten zur Geltung. Ich höre z.B. Abends gerne, wenn es bereits dunkel ist. So kann ich die Musik am besten aufnehmen. So habe ich es mit dieser Cd gehandhabt.... und es war klasse ! Seichte Klangteppiche, darauf dezente Rhythmen, der unendlich erscheinende Raum gefüllt mit dieser Musik ....das ist ein schöner Hörgenuss !
-A Distant Signal- wird als die schönste CD von Gregory Kyryluk gehandelt und obwohl ich nicht alle von ihm kenne, würde ich dem glatt zustimmen
